More than a storm

It’s not just some “delusional” Kelowna Chiropractor who is saying this is possible

March 11th, 2016 the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease reported on a 30 year study of almost 900 adults. This research focused on their exercise levels but also tested the subjects with mental exams and brain MRI scans.

The results were astounding but not surprising if you have been following our 100+ Living Plan. The researchers showed that the people engaged in higher levels of exercise, had a substantial increase in the amount of gray matter in their brain.

The participants with the highest level of exercise activity experienced an incredible reduction of risk for Alzheimer’s by 50% compared to those who were more sedentary.

Kind of exercise matters

As we teach in The 100+ Living Plan, the exercise you choose is critical. A brisk 60 minute walk a day, where 15-20 minutes of that is hills or stairs that take your breath away is all you need. If you really want to take your health to the next level, add a full body weight work out 2x a week for strength and you’re golden.
